W. Jeffrey Heid, A Landscape Architect in San Jose Specializing in
Water-Conserving Landscape Design.

Jeff Heid has been a landscape architect in the San Jose for over 35 years. Across the Bay Area we provide sustainable, creative landscape designs that meet the personal needs, budget, and goals of our clients. Through our master planning process, we collaborate with our clients to lay out garden spaces, which can include: patio, decking, shade structures, outdoor kitchens and barbecues, pools and water features, and edible gardens.

The construction document step then includes planting design, drainage plan, irrigation layout, and garden lighting. While we specialize in water conserving designs, our goal is to provide the right solution for every client. Using a vast network of resources, we can also assist in obtaining bids for construction, manage projects, and suggest the use of additional consultants or technicians as needed.

Be Prepared for Drought

Drought is part of living in sunny California. Certified in landscape irrigation auditing and irrigation consulting, we can help clients make informed decisions to help conserve water when drought strikes. Whether through lawn conversion, water-conserving and California-native plants, drip or low volume irrigation systems, or weather-based controllers and rain sensors, your landscape can be drought ready without compromising your vision for your outdoor living space.
