Feasibility Studies and Site Reviews

Before any design work begins, the site needs to be studied and reviewed to make sure that a project is feasible.

We begin by visiting and walking the site in order to inventory, document, and review the existing and natural conditions present both onsite and off. Current conditions in and around the site will influence the design options, including existing plant materials and trees.

From there, we will design a program that includes:

Preserving existing plants or features wherever possible or desired
Confirming sun and shade zones
Sampling the soil for ph and nutrient evaluations
Reviewing local city, county, and state ordinances that could influence the design
Understanding any physical, governmental, or other constraints
